No this isn’t about sex. But it is about getting raped by two iconic agonies in today’s society: lawyers and the DMV.

The day before I crashed my car back in December, I got a speeding ticket. Just my luck, right? Well, my so called lawyer, who took care of my DWAI, said he would handle the speeding ticket as well. I kept reminding him about it over and over and over again. (I think you know where this is going by now.) And guess who forgot?

Hey, you guessed right. Dumbass lawyer. And now I’m being told by the DMV that I owe them money AND that my license, which I was supposed to get back May 10, is now suspended even longer. At least that’s the gist of what I got out of the letter my mom tried to explain to me over the phone. Just my luck. Always when my life gets going in a good direction, something is always there to fuck it up. I never did anything to deserve a life like this.

I guess there’s s reason why no one likes lawyers.
